Labor Day Weekend in the Hamptons

Happy Labor Day! I hope everyone is enjoying the festivities and the day off from work!

Now that Labor Day is here, that means summer is coming to a close. I’m not quite sure how to feel about it because although this means that fall is on the way (which is my FAVORITE season of the year by far!), it ALSO means….

Let me not pretend that I even own a snuggie, but the sentiment is there. Winter is also great for fashion, but that east coast seasonal depression though… not looking forward to that!

But anyways, back to Labor Day. I enjoy this holiday because I use it as a day to relax and recharge. This year I’m spending it in the Hamptons with my family friends who live in Bridgehampton. I always love coming to the Hamptons because of how quiet it is compared to the city and all of the gorgeous scenery. All of the greenery is a nice change from the concrete jungle and it’s great spending this time with loved ones.

This Labor Day the weather is absolutely perfect so we decided to spend it by the pool; sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing in their pool house. Our family loves to spend time together above all else, so at most we may head into Sag Harbor for some food and ice cream, but we plan to soak up the sun and celebrate each other today.
