When traveling, it’s important to know what time of year is best for that location so that you can make sure you have an optimal experience. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the best time to travel to a particular country will vary depending on each particular place. However, here’s a general guide for the best seasons to travel to these 9 incredible countries!
Australia
The best time to visit Australia is during the spring and autumn months (September through May). This period offers mild temperatures, limited rainfall, and plenty of sunshine. If you are leaning towards traveling during autumn, read this article from Kimberly Anderberg on what to expect during your Autumn adventure.
Canada
Generally, summertime (June to August) is the most popular travel season for Canada. During this time, you’ll find mild temperatures, comfortable humidity levels, and plenty of outdoor activities like hiking and swimming. Also, keep in mind that the northern territories of Canada require more specialized clothing, such as a winter coat and gloves.

China
If you’re looking for warmer weather and less rain, then March to May or September to October are the best times to visit China. However, if you’d prefer cooler temperatures with fewer crowds, then December to February would be ideal.
Egypt
Peak tourist season in Egypt runs from November through April, offering balmy temperatures and very little rainfall. If you’re looking to beat the crowds, then it’s best to travel during summer (May to October), when you’ll find cooler temperatures and fewer visitors.
India
November through February is the ideal time for visiting India as this period offers pleasant temperatures and less rain. However, if you’d like to experience a blend of wintery weather and colorful festivals then January is your best bet!
Japan
The best time to visit Japan is between April and June or September and November as these months offer mild temperatures, limited rainfall, long days of sunshine, and plenty of outdoor activities. Also, during the spring season (March to May) you can enjoy many of Japan’s cherry blossom festivals.

Mexico
Although there is no bad time to visit Mexico, the best time to go is from December through April when temperatures are mild and rainfall is limited. This period also offers plenty of outdoor activities like swimming, snorkeling, and more.
