I am a HUGE product junkie. I love trying new products to see how they affect my skin and to play around with my skincare routine. Since moisturizing my skin has become a large part of my everyday routine due to the Korean skincare routine, I wanted to find a good facial oil.

Places like Sephora sell a bunch of fancy, expensive facial oils ranging up to $240! *gasp* One of the most popular oils is the Tarte Maracuja oil, a vegan face oil for a healthy looking, radiant complexion with no greasy feel.

Maracuja Oil has been gaining popularity for its use in hair, skin, and nails. Maracuja Oil is extracted from Passion fruit seeds, which is why it is often referred to as Passion fruit oil.

Maracuja Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, minerals, and antioxidants, and it acts as an emollient helping to replenish skin’s hydration and fight fine lines and wrinkles. It is also reported to help repair damaged skin, partly due to its anti-inflammatory properties and high vitamin C content. Vitamin C can make your skin look brighter and support the production of collagen, while the oil’s calcium and phosphorus content work to nourish skin in order to enhance a healthy appearance. Its anti-inflammatory properties help alleviate inflammatory skin concerns such as rosacea and acne. By calming inflammation in the skin, less sebum (oil) is released and thus the likelihood of blocked pores is greatly diminished. Maracuja Oil has a balancing effect as well, making it suitable for all skin types. What can’t it do?!

This Glow Potion is a deep-moisturizing oil for your face and body. The key ingredient is organic, cold pressed Maracuja oil, as well as vitamin E oil for added nutrients, Jojoba oil for its smooth, rich texture, and essential oils for fragrance.

I chose the Fig Blossom scent and absolutely LOVE it! I have been using this face oil for a few weeks now and my skin has already become brighter and more balanced. It smells delicious and this amount of product will last me a long time. It is SO worth the price, especially compared to its much more expensive counterparts.

I would definitely recommend this Glow Potion if you’re looking for a great facial oil moisturizer and can’t wait to see how it continues to work for my skin!

2018 Edit: I have continued to use this Glow Potion and I still love it! It is extremely moisturizing and my skin is very healthy. I don’t use it everyday, but I keep it as a staple in my routine.
