Review: Artis Dupe Oval Makeup Brushes

While scrolling through my social media feeds, I repeatedly kept seeing bloggers and celebrities applying their makeup with these cool looking oval brushes. After seeing these brushes so many times, it peaked my interest. If so many people are using them, they must be good right?

I looked up the brushes and found the Artis website. Once I saw the price on their Elite, Mirrored 10 piece set, my immediate reaction was…

So I thought there must be a dupe around here that is actually affordable. I found the My Makeup Brush Set website and saw many options for oval makeup brushes that were extremely affordable! Because of their low price, I figured why not. If I hate them, it’s not too much money lost, and if I love them, it’s lit!

I ended up buying the Oval Brush 10 piece set for $25. I’ve been using these makeup brushes for about 6 months now, and I really like them!

The description on the website says, “from highlighting to contouring, this 10 piece set gives you so many options for doing your makeup. The brushes have a round shape design that’s perfect for blending foundation, blush, or powder to your face or cheeks. With so many different sized brushes to choose from, you can achieve any look you want!”

They list some highlights of the brushes as providing flawless coverage, they have synthetic hair, and they have a firm grip handle design with a tilted brush tip.

After using my new makeup brushes for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised that the application wasn’t streaky and the hair was extremely soft. It feels so nice applying all of my makeup.

For the low price, I am extremely satisfied. They look good, perform well, and are very affordable! I would definitely recommend purchasing from My Makeup Brush Set website if you are looking for an affordable set of brushes!

xoxo, Arielle
